Day 44, Sunday, July 12, 2026: The Loop is Complete!

We had an enthusiastic crew out this morning to wrap up the final leg of the path and finish leftover planting. D worked on planting the remaining plants – compact Cypress, Pieris’ – Katsura by the new Cypress and Mountain Fire by the terrace, next to the bamboo trees. We debated whether the tag for the Mountain Fire Pieris was incorrectly labeled for the height as 10’ instead of 6’, but eventually agreed that the Terrace was the best place for it. P continued to place the slate rocks on the patio steps, followed by the upper path by the bridge. Y watered the plants and worked on updating the plant entries on the Bosky Acre plant registry – we have 81+ plants in this garden! We called it an early day around 5:15 pm to go celebrate our last evening here at Bosky Acre.
