Day 4, Tuesday, June 2, 2026: A Rocky Finish
We had another early 7 am start. Though even so early on, the day looked like it would be a hot one.

We started the day with another stand up session, this time focused on fine-tuning the upper pond, which looked like it was almost there, though needed some more leveling of the rock shelf and the plant shelf. P2 and D proceeded to focus on shaping the upper pond.

Y began to carve out the remaining path around the garden, but soon switched gears to help P dig out more dirt and a lot of rocks from the big pond through the rest of the morning shift.

P2 had to step away to take care of a sick kitty and it was time to get back to start the day job for some others. So we paused around 9:20.

Soon after breakfast, Y and mama E decided to get our domain name back and have a website for the property, including a garden blog documenting all the progress that we were making daily! So, while P and D resumed the afternoon shift around 4, Y remained with her white-collar tasks of setting up a website and documenting the garden’s progress from afar.

D continued to clean up the upper pond area as well as carved out a nice fork along the path where our bridge would cross over the stream connecting the two ponds.

P continued to dig out his favorite pond, running into some really large rocks which caused one clean edge of the lower pond to collapse. We now had to expand the lower pond and lose some of the path over by the South-East corner.

More decisions would be needed, but that was a problem for the next day. It was time for dinner!
