Day 45, Monday, July 13, 2026: Zen Garden Phase 1 is complete!

And just like that, we have finished this leg of our garden journey! As some of us bid farewell to the Zen Garden today, we wanted to acknowledge the efforts of all the folks who chipped in to help make this garden a success. Thanks to P, our all-round engineer and star rock-lifter on the field without whom we wouldn’t have been able to stack all the big rocks or level each stone on our path; D, our jack of all trades, who was happy to wear many hats, pick up what no one else finished, and crack the whip the last few days to get us to the finish line; E, who tirelessly fed our little army of garden workers the past month and half, helped ferry crucial plants in all her vehicles, and helped plan as well as plant a number of our garden plants; K, our Mr. do-it-all who helped us with some very essential wiring and pipe digging stages, as well as the reserve muscle critical to building our waterfall stacks, and most importantly helped build the Bridge in collaboration with the gracious T who put in so much work in making the masterpiece come to life; P2, who helped us with so many trenches, rock steps and rock stacks during the weekdays; and yours truly, Y, who was the chief archivist, living plant herbarium builder, and gardener. All of us at Bosky Acre are grateful to have this once in a lifetime opportunity to build such a garden together! Until next time, maybe until next phase, au revoir et à bientôt!
