Day 39, Tuesday, July 7, 2026: All the Weepers are in!
Tuesday morning dawned bright and quite warm again. D and P2 were out around 8 am, setting up some more irrigation routes and digging holes for our new trees. P worked on firming up the stones along the newly laid path. Y watered the plants and worked with D and P2 to plant and mulch the new trees. We planted the Japanese Snowbell, Weeping Caragana and Dwarf Mugo Pine this morning.

After breakfast, P2 and D worked on making more adjustments to the irrigation lines for the new trees. Later in the evening, Y watered some of the plants again and helped P settle the fine dirt he had poured as round 2 for the path in progress, followed by a spray of water. We thought it was an overall productive day for the garden with all the new additions. We closed the day with D and P discussing what to do about the patio steps relative to the level of the path next to the Upper Pond. Stay tuned for more tomorrow.
