Day 11, Tuesday, June 9, 2026: Rain Check!
The morning began with rain and chilly weather. P and Y deemed it a rest day. We were planning to take a rest day for our blog until we heard grumbling from some of the crew members (namely D and K), so we were compelled to put out a brief note. While P labored on his day job and Y spent time on miscellaneous errands, D and K worked to build out what D considers his masterpiece – a multi-stack waterfall rock stack over on the little pond. K says he was the mushroom and did as he was told by D. Read the next post to see what happens in the mushroom stew saga of our rock stack here.

As it happened, the wind really picked up in the evening as it continued to rain intermittently throughout the day. P and Y never quite made it outside for work this day.

On his ride out to Kelowna, D managed to get all the under lay and pond liner supplies so that we would be truly ready to go the next day.
